The Deputy President of the Republic of Somaliland His Excellency, Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail Sayli on Wednesday received Richway Greenergy Delegation from China. The meeting was held at the office of the vice president in the presidency according to a press release issued by the presidential press secretary. The Chinese investment private company delegation arrived in Somaliland so as to invest projects on electricity generated from water. They have shared with the deputy president on surveys about the projects that they will implement in Somaliland in the years to come.
According to Somaliland Assistant Minister for Industry, Mr, Garas said that the delegation is headed by the Richway Greenergy firm chairman, Oliver Liu. He asserted that the intention is to assess investment opportunities in Somaliland particularly it is interested in carrying out projects of electricity generated from waste and water. The Chinese investment delegation will seek opportunities to invest in Somaliland coal.
